Japan Day 2 – Osaka and Mount Koya
On our second day, April 29, 2013, we woke up in a very cold morning and still spring season in Japan. While we were having our breakfast, it was so kind of our host to give us some tips on how to get to Mount Koya. I and my wife discussed about Mount Koya before when we visit Japan. I also had my own research about the place that it’s a must visit for tourist like us. We also had discussed that it will be our next destination before going to bed. The place was very interesting and I was curious because I saw lots of wonderful photos from flickr users.
While on our way at Mount Koya, we didn’t expect that we were able to see lots of sakura from the mountains. And upon our arrival to our destination, we were so happy that there are a few sakura around Mount Koya. The first photo below is shidari sakura. It’s different from the usual famous sakura in Japan.
The last four photos are our walk around Hirano Ward, Osaka, because our host said that it’s okay to walk around at night. And so she gave us a key so that we can open the house anytime as soon we arrive. And one thing, there’s a continuation of our walk around Hirano Ward and that would be on the next post because that’s on day 3! haha!
