Celebrities Next Door

Last February 12, 2016, it was my nephew’s birthday, the celebration was held at Grand Majestic Grand Convention Center. After our dinner, I, my wife, nephews and nieces plan to go at the 2nd floor to have fun in taking photos, but, because I was the first one who went outside Grand Majestic restaurant, I notice an actor in the large TV in front of the restaurant. He was singing and really looks so familiar. And there it is, Jericho Rosales and Mylene Dizon promoting a new restaurant. They had a cooking contest to have fun, to promote and to get an attention.

Before Jericho could finish singing, I was out in the restaurant and had to notify my family that I’m still at Grand Majestic and I was taking photos of Celebrities so I can write something for the blog and post some photos at my facebook page.

In the event held in the restaurant, bloggers and media was also there, enjoying and having their dinner and tasting the food cooked by both participants, Mylene and Jericho. In the contest, the one who won was Mylene. And oh, it’s just the two of them that was there, there were also some celebrities in the restaurant but only Jericho and Mylene has all the attention.

While I was taking photos of the two celebrities, I got some decent shots of Jericho and Mylene but the most photos I’ve took was Jericho Rosales because he is more visible than Mylene. Mylene was away and keep on siting in her table with friends. And only two photos of Jericho that look’s good, the rest was out of focus because he moves a lot and the composition is just not right for me. Mylene’s photos were not also good because she always gave bad expression on her face. I think that’s just her, she doesn’t walk around a lot and if she smile, I just can’t capture those pretty face.

This is the best moment that I was able to capture a very good photo of Jericho. He notice me and smile for a couple of shots.

Who’s that Girl?

I notice her there, and she was in a good spot with nice lighting. Her outfit didn’t blend with the background, so I took some photos of her and that’s when my nieces and nephews also notice her and ask for some photos. I ask my nephew’s girlfriend (Lacey) if who is she, and answered, she is Kryz Uy, a famous blogger and one of WTGW owner. And I was like, ah okay.

After I took photos of her together with my relatives, I requested another one shot of her.

When I went back to Grand Majestic together with my family, my wife said, maybe she just trying to get notice by everyone outside the restaurant. Because Jericho and Mylene was there, she wasn’t get notice and doesn’t get any attention? As a photographer, oh, pretty girl standing alone like a lonely girl waiting for someone. hahahah! Yup, she really looks so pretty.

When I got home, I tried to search her name, at first, I spelled it Chris Uy! Hahaha! Because I didn’t get the exact search results, I close Google search page and continue with my facebook surfing and editing photos.

And last Monday, February 29, 2016, a small magazine was laying at the top of my desktop PC and notices her in the cover page. And that’s where I realize that the spelling of her name was Kryz, not Chris! Sorry about that Kryz. hahaha! I’m not into blogging for so long and not so active in social network such as twitter and instagram. Or I really just don’t care because I’m not really into local celebrities.

When I google search her name, and there! Found you! Her blog address is www.kryzuy.com and the first thing I did when viewing her website if she really is a famous blogger, I check the comments of her blog post and followers of her social network site such as instagram and facebook. And I see that she really has thousands of followers. And for her website, it’s the same as other regular bloggers with good articles but I don’t find it a very famous website. Not sure with her daily traffic if she really have thousands of unique visitors a day. For me a famous website blog has hundreds of comment discussions. What makes her website has a lot of comment is because of her thank you reply but it doesn’t matter, what’s really important for a blogger is to be down to earth and talk to readers who love to visit her website and read some good articles.
