Japan Day 1 – Philippines to Osaka, Kansai
When we planned our wedding for April 2013, my wife asked me where I would like to go for our honeymoon. I answered, Japan. She was startled, and then she asked me, why? I told her it’s my favorite country and it’s a dream for anime lovers to be there. And what’s so nice about Japan, is the culture and their tourist spots. I’ve always been amazed of how wonderful Japan’s landscape. It’s also the best place for photographers like me.
My wife still couldn’t believe why I utter the name Japan when she asked me where to go for honeymoon. Because it’s not easy to get a visa and the tour would be very expensive and why not visit first Singapore, Hong Kong or other country that isn’t very strict. And I told her that I’m just confident that we can go there for honeymoon.
When my wife knew why I want to visit Japan, she started her research everything about the country. After grasping the country’s culture and fashion, she got excited for the trip. She now found her own reasons why it would be great to visit Japan. With all the planning and savings, we were able to get a cheap round trip ticket to Japan, and it only cost as less than 25,000 Philippine Pesos for two.
A few weeks after our wedding on April 28, 2013, we started our travel going to Manila for Osaka trip. The experience was so amazing and my heart was beating fast and my breathing was heavy. We both got excited as we arrive and I couldn’t stop smiling!! Hahaha. You can check all my photos below for the first day of our honeymoon in Japan.
