Kim, Yoon and Zhou

I had a great moment with these Korean family and very thankful to Wons for hiring me as their photographer. When I arrived at the resort, I met Wons first before taking photos when I was having a problem with the security so we had to finish taking care of the problem with Shangri La Mactan’s security methods for photographers coz it was a failure on Shangri La’s part since last November 2018. When I started taking photos of the family, I told them that I will be taking candid photos while we headed to the beach coz it’s my style to include it in the documentary before taking group photos.

While the session was still ongoing and within the family member, the little baby girl was different from the rest of the babies I have met. This one is very energetic after an hour of walk and taking photos. So we had the chance to let her join a good group photo together with the grannies and cousins. Everyone was so happy that she got to enjoy what everyone is doing. She finally got used of me being part of the group because babies at her age are very hard to manage, so I just told the parents to let her be so she won’t be stress.

When we were about to end the session, I notice that there is a small sunset effect from the golf area. So I told Wons that we can try to have a sunset for their photos. Coz in the beginning, their plan is to have wonderful photos with sunset, and yet, the weather was not good. The family photo session was a really nice experience because they are such a great family. The grannies are always smiling and they look so happy together as a complete family. Wons son was kind of naughty sometimes, so I was also able to capture a very good moment of the family.

To capture the happiness of a family is such a wonderful moment. Hoping to capture more in the future.
