The Howell – 2018
And here they are, one of my favorite family. The Howell family. I have taken photos of them for so long. It’s like almost every year for a family session. Rafa was still small when I first met them and now, he is really a grown-up boy. His Father, Martin, is always documenting their life as a family and Rafa is now a very great skater and the best is surfing! I have known about how Martin is taking care of Rafa together with Mira, as we always talk about things in life. I really couldn’t believe that time flies so fast.
In this session for Martin’s family, there is a huge difference when I last took their photos. Before, it was just simple, and for this session, creativity is now been part of it. As I have been taking creative portraits for so long, I have now incorporated it with Martin’s family photos. I had to take advantage of the light coz it was so bright and it is a good thing for taking creative portrait photos. The portrait session started early morning, and it is a good time for me and for them.
As I have mentioned in the first paragraph about Rafa, growing up so fast, and because it was only Mira, Rafa’s mother always with him all the time, Rafa became so sweet and I was even enjoying taking photos of the two. So I had to let them be by themselves on how they will enjoy being together. And the outcome was lovely. When I was still taking photos of Mira and Martin, Rafa always teases that both should kiss but Rafa became a joiner because he got jealous of his mother acts sweet towards Martin in front of him.
And as for Martin, he is so fun of streets and natural nature of every city. He likes to include jeepneys, billboards and anything that a countries signature has. And his most favourite is the natural look of every province. After the photo session at the hotel, we went at the old bridge for their last photo session. Even though the sidewalk was so tight, I was still able to take good photos for them.
And with that, I am hoping to meet them again soon! Thanks for taking the time to read and don’t forget to check their photos below! Enjoy!
