Sasha and Lena
An unforgettable and most awesome photo-shoot I have experience for a post-wedding.
Sasha and Lena are both Russian. Even though they can’t speak English, they can still understand a little, specially for Lena. The one who contacted me was Artem, a friend of Sasha and Lena. Artem was not also alone, he was also with his Girlfriend Elina. Four of them was together on travel as Sasha and Lena for their honeymoon. The first part of the session was at Malapascua Island, it was raining and very gloomy. As for me to capture beautiful photos for the couple, I really didn’t mind that much about the weather. No matter what situation that can be, I will still take good photos. And I also need to thank Artem for helping me in assisting me in making Lena’s beautiful red dress look amazing in photos.
The second session was at Kalanggaman Island, it’s a famous island that has a shape of a bird in aerial view during low-tide. The couple wanted it there in the first day but it was too late to go there for a photo-shoot because it was already 4pm, raining, and it would take 2hrs to travel. The weather was not on our side so we made a decision to do it on the next day.
When we went to Kalanggaman Island, the wave was bad, going to the island and worst was going back to Malapascua Island. We had to travel for 2 hrs, and also bumping face-on on waves. I thought I was going to vomit but I didn’t. Good thing that I already got used in traveling on seas, if it was not, it would be a problem because I get sea-sick so easily. At Kalanggaman Island, the shoot was on high-noon and the sun was really hot, I still didn’t mind that much coz it’s also nice to take photos if there’s sun coz it gives a really nice contrast and color for the photo. I really like the session at Kalanggaman coz the color was amazing and both really look so beautiful.
One of the best thing in this post-wedding was both couples are so sweet, especially Sasha. He was really sweet and very expressive with his love for Lena and it makes the photo really lovely and dramatic.
In this session, the whole experience was really fun. I will never forget this moment coz I was also with my family. I had to bring them with me on Malapascua Island so that we can have a great time together and save some good moment. We weren’t able to take photos with my DSLR but the experience was priceless. Hoping to have more out of town travel photo-shoot soon, so I can also bring my family with me. I don’t care if I have to spend more but creating good memories with my family is a priority.
Thank you for taking the time to read, enjoy viewing the photos!
